The short answer

What is multi-location local SEO?

Keeping every location visible and accurate on Google, without one fix breaking another.

Multi-location local SEO is the work of keeping every location's Google Business Profile, citations and location page accurate, consistent and ranking, across a brand or franchise. It fails for reasons that do not exist at a single location: duplicate listings, details drifting between systems, and bulk edits that look like abuse to Google.

  • Best for multi-location and franchise brands with profile data drifting out of agreement, duplicate listings, or a suspension at one or more locations.
  • Not for a single location. For one suspended profile, GBP reinstatement is faster than a portfolio audit.
What breaks at scale

The problems that do not exist at one location

  1. 1

    No single source of truth

Location data lives in the POS, the CMS, franchise agreements, registrations and every profile, and none of them agree. A fix made on one profile gets overwritten the next time another system syncs.

  2. 2

    Duplicate listings

Franchisees create their own profiles, data aggregators sync from stale sources, and old profiles stay open after ownership changes. Each duplicate splits reviews and can trigger a review by Google.

  3. 3

    Details drifting between locations

Independently managed locations edit their own name, address and phone. No single edit is wrong, but the portfolio stops agreeing with itself.

  4. 4

    Inconsistent categories

The same brand ends up with different categories at different locations, set once by whoever created each profile.

  5. 5

    Bulk-edit suspensions

The same change pushed to many locations in a short window can be flagged by Google, even when every change is legitimate. Changes have to be paced.

  6. 6

    Suspensions that spread

A problem specific to one location usually stays there. A shared signal, such as a shared data feed or verification method, can affect several locations at once.

How it works

One process for every portfolio

  1. Stage 1

    Inventory and standard

Every profile reconciled against your location list, then one name, address, phone and category record set per location.

  2. Stage 2

    Correct

Each flagged profile fixed individually. Suspended locations go through our reinstatement process.

  3. Stage 3

    Pace the rollout

Changes batched and timed so corrections do not trigger the bulk-edit pattern.

  4. Every month

    Monitor and report

Watching for drift, franchisee changes and new suspensions, with one consolidated report to one contact.

Working with your structure

Franchisor, franchisees, or both

Through the franchisor

One point of contact with system-wide access. We work from the master location list and report on the whole portfolio.

With individual franchisees

Where franchisees control their own listings, we coordinate with each one. Duplicates we cannot access are flagged for the owner to close.

Some problems cannot be fixed inside Google Business Profile, such as missing location pages or a store locator that does not work. We scope those separately.

Pricing

How multi-location pricing works

Pricing is quoted per portfolio after the free audit, based on the number of locations, the condition of the data and how many profiles need correction or reinstatement. We do not publish a flat multi-location rate because the work varies too much between portfolios.

For reference, our published single-location prices are: Google Business Profile management at $264 per profile per month, and local SEO at $750, $1,370 or $2,750 per month for Starter, Growth and Authority. A suspended location is reinstated on the same terms as any other: a $199 diagnostic, and the $288 balance only if it is reinstated. See what each local SEO package includes.

We work in the US, the UK and the UAE.

Questions

Multi-location and franchise questions

Can pushing the same fix to many locations at once get them suspended?
Yes. Google can flag a batch of identical changes pushed in a short window, even when each change is legitimate. That is why we pace multi-location rollouts instead of making one mass update.
If one location is suspended, are the others at risk?
It depends on the cause. A suspension from something specific to one location usually stays isolated. A suspension from a shared signal, such as a shared data feed or verification method, can affect several locations at once.
How do you handle duplicate listings across many locations?
Each duplicate is found during the inventory stage, matched against your location list and resolved individually: merged, closed, or flagged for the location owner to close if we do not have access to it.
How does pricing work for a multi-location portfolio?
It is quoted per portfolio after the free audit, based on location count, data condition and how many profiles need correction or reinstatement. For reference, profile management is $264 per profile per month, and terms are month-to-month with 30 days written notice to cancel.
What do you need to start a portfolio audit?
A list of locations and, if available, access to the Google Business Profile accounts or the franchisor's location management system. We can also start from the location list alone and tell you what we cannot yet see.
Which markets do you cover?
The US, the UK and the UAE.
