Both the GBP and the associated Google account are suspended. This indicates a more serious policy violation, typically duplicate listings, suspected fraud, or repeated violations. Requires formal documentation and a structured appeal to Google's Policy Review team.

The category itself is flagged

Google has flagged the business category as high-risk or misrepresented, not just this one listing. Categories like locksmiths, plumbers, legal services, and some medical fields draw more scrutiny. Often the slowest to clear, because the appeal has to address the category classification, not one profile in isolation.

Google says the business model doesn't qualify

Online-only businesses, rental properties, and appointment-only businesses with no customer-facing location can be ruled ineligible for a listing at all. This requires either documenting genuine eligibility or restructuring how the business is represented. Not every case here is winnable, and an honest answer on winnability is exactly what the $199 diagnostic buys, before the balance is ever quoted.

Google's own appeals process offers limited recourse after a denial.
